Equipment rental close to Urho Kekkonen National Park

You can hike or engage in activities without your own equipment. Our partners rent out equipment.

There are several equipment rental shops near Urho Kekkonen National Park in Saariselkä, the Kiilopää Fell Center and Tankavaara. You can rent equipment for summer and winter activities for day trips as well as longer hikes.

  • Snowshoe rental from four hours to a whole day

    Tankavaara Gold Village has plenty of marked snowshoeing trails from just a few hundred meters to full-day trails. Our staff can help you choose trails and show you where to download area maps etc. You can also rent snowgear such as overalls from the restaurant. Ask the staff availabilities upon arrival. When booking snowshoes, please specify date and time for your booking. You can pick up your snowshoes from Gold Village restaurant. Please have your booking ticket with you in either paper or electronic form. The snowshoes must be returned back to the restaurant by the time your rental time ends. Snowshoeing rent includes a pair of snowshoes, not snowgear.
