Privacy statement

The Luontoon.fi site collects user information using a feedback form.

Users can provide their contact information on the feedback form if they want a response to their feedback. Users can provide the following personal data on the feedback form: first name, last name, email address and phone number. By filling in the personal data fields, a user consents to having their personal data being temporarily stored in the Metsähallitus customer register. The data are deleted automatically by the end of the next calendar year. Users may ask the controller to delete the data earlier.

Data collected using the feedback form will be transferred to the Metsähallitus feedback database. Personal data is not disclosed to parties outside Metsähallitus, and the data are only processed inside the European Economic Area (EEA).

The protection of the Luontoon.fi webpages complies with best practices in data protection, current legislation and regulations, and supplementary instructions issued by Metsähallitus. Access rights are used to restrict use of the system to only those individuals that require the data for their work.

The luontoon.fi uses cookies. Cookies are small text files used for communication between the terminal's browser and the server. Cookies and other identifiers have a set period of validity, after which the browser removes the identifier. We use these technologies to carry out our activities. If desired, the user may prevent the creation of cookies, change their consent to receive cookies or delete the cookies saved in the browser. This may, however, inhibit the functioning of the webpages. You can see all the cookies used by the site and see and modify the cookie consent you have given from the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the site.

Data on the use of the luontoon.fi web service is collected without cookies using the Snoobi Analytics service. No personal data which could be used to identify individual visitors is collected about the users of online services. The information is used in the development of the web service. The collected data is stored in the Snoobi Analytics tool. Snoobi manages this information in accordance with its privacy policy. The data subject has the right to access the data held by the controller concerning him or her, the right to request the rectification of imprecise and incorrect data, and the right to restrict processing of this data for the period when its veracity is being confirmed. The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority regarding actions carried out in the processing of his or her personal data.
