Geocaching

Geocaching is a fun and social way to explore Sipoonkorpi. There are geocaches throughout the park that can be found with the help of GPS or a smartphone and geocaching sites on the internet.
Skiing

The National Park has maintained ski tracks. You can also ski freely elsewhere in Sipoonkorpi area. For a map of the ski tracks and up-to-date information, visit (ladulle.fi).
Picking berries and mushrooms

Plenty of blueberries (Vaccinium myrtillus) can be found in Sipoonkorpi National Park, as well as a good crop of chanterelles (Cantharellus cibarius) and yellowfoot fungi (Craterellus tubaeformis) in most years.
Fishing

Hook and line fishing and ice fishing are allowed, except in rivers Byabäcken, Ritobäcken and Hälsängsbäcken as well as Storträsk Lake.

Lure fishing with a single rod is permitted, except in rivers Byabäcken, Ritobäcken and Hälsängsbäcken as well as Storträsk Lake. Persons aged 18-69 years must pay the fisheries management fee (eraluvat.fi).

Fishing permits are available from Metsähallitus' online shop (eraluvat.fi).

Storträsk pond is regularly stocked with rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) and to fish there, you need to buy a fishing permit from the local fishing association. Permits are sold at Cafe Kuusijärvi (cafekuusijarvi.fi).
