By Car to Rokua
Rokua National Park is located south of Highway 22 between Oulu and Kajaani, approximately 80 kilometers from Oulu and 120 kilometers from Kajaani. From Highway 22, turn onto Road 8293 via the village of Ahmas, where there are signs directing to the national park.
- Caravans can stay overnight at Rokuantie Camper Stop.
- Parking areas in the national park are not maintained during winter. During the winter season, it is safest to leave your car at Rokuantie Camper Stop near the spa hotel.
The Pookivaara parking area does not have an official address. Its WGS84 coordinates are N 64.57084 E 26.48992.
To reach the Keisarintie parking area on the southern edge of the park along Keisarintie, it is recommended to approach from the south via Neittäväntie and turn onto Nuojuankoskentie. From the north, Keisarintie is in poor condition and requires a longer drive.

Osoite: Keisarintie 1720, 92810 Vaala. Tunnetaan myös nimellä Pitkäjärven pysäköintialue. Keisarintielle kannattaa ajaa kansallispuiston eteläpuolelta, Nuojuankoskentien kautta. Pohjoisesta päin huonokuntoista Keisarintietä joutuu ajamaan pidemmän matkan. Ei talviylläpitoa!
