Hiking and outdoor recreation
You can stop for a picnic at one of the lean-to shelters along the trail, or even stay overnight in the easy-to-reach open wilderness hut at Riisitunturi fell. Seats are also provided along the trails for having a break and admiring the scenery.
Take in the breathtaking views of the magnificent fell and hill landscape on you hike. The changing seasons add diversity to the landscape. The views from the top of Riisitunturi fell at 465 metres are amazing. Almost all parts of the National Park are more than 300 metres above sea level.
