Kuvassa näkyy ylhäältä kuvattu metsä- ja suomaisema yöllä. Maiseman yllä loistaa keskiyön aurinko, jonka säteet erottuvat punaisina viiruina.

Riisitunturi National Park offers an easy-to-reach fell with slope fens. In winter, the National Park is known for its magnificent snow-clad trees. Encumbered by tons of snow, the imaginative forms of trees are like sculptures made by nature. In summer, bog cotton sways in the slope fens of Riisitunturi fell, and the golden plover sings it melancholy song in the mountain heath. Magnificent landscapes open out from the fell top over Lake Kitkajärvi all the way to the blue hills of Kuusamo.

  • Highly representative southern fell nature
  • Beautiful distant views and a vista over Ikkunalampi Lake
  • Wilderness nature of slope fens and taiga forests
  • Snow-clad trees and lights in the sky in winter.
