You can hike or engage in activities without your own equipment. Our partners rent out equipment. The Repovesi National Park has especially rental points where customers can pick up rented equipment independently.

    Rent a kayak from Natura Viva's Repovesi Paddling Point and explore the national park from the water! Repovesi is a great kayaking destination! The rugged hills and forest landscapes of the national park are worth experiencing. The Lapinsalmi paddling point has several routes to the south and north of the national park. Visit Karhulahti Bay or, for example, Kuutinkanava. The Repovesi National Park has a number of fireplaces, where you can easily camp at the end of a kayaking trip. Overnight trips are also possible. The magnificent nature of Repovesi The nature of Repovesi National Park is typical of the Finnish forest landscape at its best. The forests of the national park are mixed forests of pine, spruce and birch, with maples, linden and rowan. The glaciation has shaped the landscape, which is rocky and varied in altitude, and the highest peaks in the area, Mustalamminvuori and Olhavanvuori, offer breathtaking views over the Repovesi River. Lakes criss-cross the landscape throughout the Repovesi. Repovesi itself is a large lake on the western side of the national park. The long and narrow Kapiavesi connects Repovesi with Lake Tihvetjärvi, south of the national park. On the western side, the Repovesi River connects via Hillosensalmi to Lake Vuohijärvi, the largest lake in the area. Kayaks at Paddling Point In Repovesi rental point you can rent basic kayaks, twin kayak or touring kayaks. Rental includes kayak, vests, opening cover and paddle. Season pass holder communities on Facebook and Whatsapp are ideal for finding outdoor company, asking tips and sharing your experiences. Best of all, as a season pass holder, you can bring your child under 15 years old with you to go outdoors for free. Guided weekly tours in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area and paddling tours in national parks are popular with season pass holders. Relax and enjoy the tour with a professional guide. High-quality equipment and facilities for a carefree experience! The booking always includes the necessary equipment, such as a paddle, vest and a spray skirt or a cycling helmet for fatbike rides.   • Snowshoe and wide skishoe rental in Repovesi National Park

    Self guided winter hiking trip in Repovesi National Park, perhaps on the marked trail (3,8 km), which starts at the gate of Tervajärvi. You can rent snowshoes and wide skishoes from the Tervajärvi self-service Rental Base. You find snowshoes for children also from Rental Base. The snowshoes are large and drop-shaped and therefore carry their walkers well. Snowshoes allow the feet to move naturally, making it light to move even in soft snow. With wide skishoes, you can move agilely both in forest and in more open terrain. The best features of wide skishoes are evident in forested terrain with height differences, which makes it possible to climb hills and slide to slopes. The rentals includes adjustable aluminium-framed poles! Snowshoes and wide skishoes can be rented on an hourly or 24-hour basis. The duration of the hourly rental can be 4, 8 or 12 hours. Rentals can be booked to start at 09:00, 13:00 or 17:00.

Lake Tervajärvi itself is right next to the gate parking lot. From the gate, you can start a canoe trip into the inner parts of the national park or paddle on SUP board the sheltered and wilderness lake Tervajärvi. With a rowing boat, you can enjoy in the evening sun of Tervajärvi or fish in the morning mist. You can rent a canoes, SUP boards and boat on an hourly or daily basis. Rentals include e.g. vests and paddles. You can also rent tents, children's carriers, hammocks or, for example, a forgotten sleeping pad from the rental base.     Take a hike in the wonderful Repovesi National Park. Rent a canoe, SUP board or even a tent from Lapinsalmi rental base. The gate of Lapinsalmi is the most popular gate of Repovesi National Park. From this the gate, you can start a canoe trip into the inner parts of the park or start e.g. a circle trip with canoeing and hiking sections. The Lapinsalmi area is excellent for sup boarding. From Lapinsalmi to the southeast the waterways are meandering and sheltered. There are also nice fireplaces on the journey on the shores. You can rent a canoes and SUP boards on an hourly or daily basis. Rentals include e.g. vests and paddles. You can also rent tents, hammocks or, for example, a forgotten sleeping pad from the rental base. Lapinsalmi Rental Base is located at the gate of Lapinsalmi just right between the parking lot and the shore about 50 metres from parking lot and 100 metres from the shore and serves as a self-service rental base at all times of the day.   • Canoe rental in Kouvola near Repovesi National Park

    We rent high-quality canoes, kayaks, and SUP boards for a day trip or longer. Our paddling guide tells you how to use the equipment and about the area. Our paddling port, Repojotos, is on a clear lake near Repovesi National Park. In addition to the lakes, our area also has an excellent canoeing route along winding rivers and narrow lakes for about 24 kilometers. In this case, our paddling harbor is in most cases, the place of return. We organize the transport of the equipment to the place of departure. You can leave your car at Repojotos. From there, you can get to the starting point with equipment transport. Your kayaking destination can also be the village of Verla. There you can visit Unesco World Heritage Site at the Verla Mill Museum. It is about 11 kilometers from us. You don't have to paddle back, because you can get a transport service from us if you want. Repovesi National Park can be reached by paddling from us as well. However, that route is suitable for a more extended trip, where you spend the night in a tent. Our transportation service helps you find a suitable excursion to visit the park. We always give the Renters good guidance on the equipment and everything necessary, such as paddling vests for everyone and waterproof sacks for those who need them. Before starting the trip, you will get to know the maps of the area under the guidance of the guide, and you will get recommendations on destinations and places to rest that are suitable for you.
