By car to Pyhä-Luosto
The Pyhä-Luosto National Park is located in Eastern Lapland, in the municipalities of Kemijärvi, Pelkosenniemi and Sodankylä. The nearest towns are Rovaniemi and Kemijärvi.
- The distance from Rovaniemi to Luosto is about 115 km: first take the Main road 4 (E75) north and at Torvinen village turn east onto road no. 962.
- The distance from Rovaniemi via Kemijärvi to Pyhä is about 130 km: first take the Main road 4 (E75) and turn east onto road no. 82 to Kemijärvi. At Kemijärvi you turn north onto Main road 5 (E63) and before the Vuostimo village turn west onto road no. 962.
- The distance from Kemijärvi to Pyhä is about 47 km by Main road 5 (E63) and road no. 962.
- The distance from Sodankylä to Luosto is about 40 km by Main road 4 (E75) and road no. 962.

Parking areas
Huttujärventie parking area

Located along the Huttujärventie road, which is a forest road in poor condition. Space for approx. 10 cars. The road has no winter maintenance and can only be used in summer and autumn.
Visitor Centre Naava parking area
Parking
You can park your car in the visitor centre’s parking area or in the public car park next to the visitor centre. Space for approximately 100 cars. Winter maintenance.
Luostonportti parking area
Parking
Located next to the Luosto skiing center. You can leave your car in the smaller parking area next to the Luostonportti starting point, or in the larger parking area at the foot of the ski slopes. Room for 200 cars. Winter maintenance.
Rykimäkero parking area
Parking
Located between Pyhä and Luosto, along Pyhä-Luostontie road (no. 962). Space for about 20 cars. Winter maintenance.
