Staying overnight
For overnight visitors, Liesjärvi offers various options, such as rental huts, lean-to shelters, and tent areas.
Telttailu
- Camping is only permitted in designated camping areas.
- In addition to the main tent area at Savilahti, camping is allowed near the Peukalolampi lean-to shelter and the Kaksvetinen campfire hut.
- The accessible tent area is located near the reservable cooking shelter at Tittilampi. A maximum of 20–25 people can stay overnight at the accessible tent area, but it requires booking the Tittilampi cooking shelter for a full day.
- When camping, be considerate towards other hikers and those staying overnight. They may be tired after their day’s hike and wish to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.
Huts
- A rental hut is accommodation that you can rent for your private use for one or several nights.
- By following the hut etiquette, you take the environment, safety and other hikers into consideration. Read the instructions and hut etiquette that can be found in the hut.
