    Kanta-Hämeen Oppaat

    Elokuvakierroksella tutustutaan suomalaisen elokuvan historiaan Aulangon maisemissa. Sekä Suomi-Filmi että SF kuvasivat elokuvia Aulangolla ja muuallakin Hämeenlinnassa; niissä herää eloon muistojen Joutsenlampi, rauniolinnake ja vanhan Karlbergin kartanon pihapiiri. Elokuvista välittyy paitsi intohimoa ja rakkautta, myös erinomaista ajankuvaa menneiden aikojen Hämeenlinnasta. Elokuvia tähdittivät mm. Siiri Angerkoski, Kullervo Kalske, Leif Wager ja Eeva-Kaarina Volanen. Myös Speden elokuvia kuten X Paroni ja Pohjan tähteet on filmattu Aulangolla. Aulangon puistometsän lisäksi voimme kierrellä hotellin alueella, sillä niin hotellirakennuksesta kuin sen ympäristöstäkin on paljon elokuva-aiheista kerrottavaa.

    Lookout Cafe Aulanko - an oasis in the national landscape. You will find the tower café by the Aulanko historic observation tower. Take a refreshing break in the tower cafe during hiking in the park. In the surroundings of the café you will find the magnificent scenery of the observation tower, the Karhuluola (Bear Cave) and many other interesting sights to see!

  • Aulanko Forest Park and Nature Reserve Walking Tour

    Aulanko is unique, nationally well known culture and leisure destination in Hämeenlinna. During the walking tour the Swan Lake, the Forest Lake as well as the Rosevalley pavilion are visited. Fascinating Nature of Aulanko is very lush and there are a number of curiosities such as groves of curly birch and stands of foreign tree species. From the Lookout Tower there is a boasting beautiful scenery to the Lake Aulangonjärvi. This scenery has provided inspiration for the Finlandia tone poem, one of best-known works of the composer Jean Sibelius born in Hämeenlinna. The walking tour is not recommended for mobility impaired.

  • Kahvit ja kulttuurikävely säveltäjän sävelmaisemissa

    Aulangon Tornikahvila

    Säveltäjämestari Jean Sibeliuksen syntymästä on kulunut 160 vuotta. Opastettu kävelykierros Aulangon puistometsässä, Finlandia-hymnin alkulähteillä. Tästä eversti Standertskjöldin perustamasta puistometsästä ovat Sibeliuksen lisäksi hakeneet innoitusta mm. runoilijat Eino Leino ja Larin-Kyösti. Kahvitauko Aulangon Tornikahvilassa, josta voit varata ryhmällesi munkkikahvit taikka kahvit ja Sibeliuksen metsän kakkua. Kierroksen kesto kahvitaukoineen noin 2h.
