The Punaisen sulan salaisuus Thematic Trail for children starts from the northern corner of Haltia outdoor field, near the campfire site. The trail can be travelled in both directions, but the instructions are counterclockwise.
The Punaisen sulan salaisuus Trail is rather narrow, bumpy and inclined in places, so it is not easy to walk.
The trail is on the slope below Haltia. First, climb through a wooden gate, following information boards with content suitable for small children, related to observing nature.
There is a campsite along the trail with long benches and a table.
The campfire site is open to everyone if there are no reservations. There is firewood next to the campfire site, and if there is none left, you can get more from Haltia during its opening hours.
The accessible Finnish Nature Centre Haltia has a café-restaurant, equipment rental services, exhibitions and rental facilities. Villa Solvalla also has a restaurant. There are information boards near Haltia.
