The beginning of the trail mainly follows a forest path for about 800 meters to the edge of a mire, from where it continues as a boardwalk trail over the open mire towards the sandy road of Torro village (Haipontie). The trail marking is a blue paint mark on a white field.
The distance from the Pehku parking area to the sandy road is approximately 2.3 km.
Walk east along the sandy road for about 1.1 km, then turn onto the forest path towards the mire area as indicated by the signs.
The path continues partially as a boardwalk to the old open-pit mine at Härksaari.
From the quarry, walk about 3 km across the bog on the boardwalk trail, and continue following the signs towards the Kiljamo rest area.
From the rest area, it is about 330 meters to the Kiljamo parking area. The narrow boardwalk trail starting behind the information board leads back to the Pehku parking area.
