Mellonlahden luontolenkki

Mellonlahti is located about 1 km downstream from the Imatrankoski bridge. Currently, Mellonlahti is isolated from the Vuoksi River by an embankment, creating its own unique ecosystem as the Vuoksi's water does not flow through it. On Kuukansaari in Mellonlahti, there is a campfire site. There is no firewood supply at the campfire site, so you need to bring your own firewood for your trip. Fishing permits for Mellonlahti are sold at the Vuoksi Fishing Park. The nature trail, which introduces the origin, vegetation, and ecosystem of Mellonlahti, also visits Mellonmäki, offering great views over Imatrankoski and the neighboring town of Svetogorsk. The total length of the trail is approximately 3 km.
