The Korpinkierros Trail is the longest circle trail in the Haukkalampi area. There is plenty to see along the way; in addition to various forests, you will encounter many small lakes, ponds and streams. The trail is quite demanding, as the elevation differences are great, and the trail is criss-crossed with roots in places. The trail has wide road sections and narrow forest paths in places. The western Mustalampi campsite, the Holma-Saarijärvi campsites, the Kolmoislampi reservable tent site and the services at the Haukkalampi Pond are located by the trail. Parts of the trail are accessible: From the large Haukkalampi parking area all the way to the dam at the Mustalampi Pond.

The Korpinkierros Trail can be travelled in both directions, but the trail presentation is counterclockwise.
When starting from the Haukkalampi large parking area (Haukkalammentie 30), first go along a wide and well-surfaced road through a spruce forest. You will then reach a small parking area, approaching the Haukkalampi Pond and its services.
After the Haukkalampi yard, dip back into the spruce forest. After the Haukanholma junction, climb up a gentle hill to the dam at the Mustalampi Pond.
After a steep climb, you will reach rocks at the western Mustalampi campsite, where you can find a campfire site, a tent area and a dry toilet.
From the campsite, descend near the shore of the Haukkalampi Pond and soon turn to the right on a forest trail.
The initially wide road gradually becomes a narrower, rocky forest path criss-crossed by roots. You will soon see the Kolmikulmalampi Pond with its partly miry shores on the left, and then encounter Lake Holma-Saarijärvi with three campsites by its shore. You can find a campfire site, a tent area and a dry toilet, a lean-to shelter and dry toilet on the northern shore of the lake, a lean-to shelter and a dry toilet at the southern end of the lake, and a campfire site and a tent area on the island near the southern shore.
The trail continues south towards the Kolmoislampi Ponds, where it is easy to cross the wetland along a wooden bridge. You will then see varying forests and some rises and descents until you reach the Lake Siikajärvi area, where rocky forest sections begin.
There is a rather steep descent to the stream channel at the southeast end of the trail, followed by a rather steep climb. The Kolmoislampi reservable campfire site and dry toilet will be to the left soon.
Next, you will climb to the Rajakallio Cliffs, where you can find an exercise track in fairly good condition between the rocks. The track is even wide in places.
Approaching the end of the trail, descend into a lush spruce forest, cross the western cove of the Mustalampi Pond along a wooden bridge and return to the starting point the same way you came.
End points: Haukkalampi parking areas, Haukkalammentie 30 and Haukkalammentie 32, 02820 Espoo. Siikaniemi parking area, Kolmoislammenranta, 02860 Espoo.
The hiking centre at the Haukkalampi Pond is called Haukanpesä. A café operates there in the summer. You can also rent canoes, rowing boats and bicycles at the hiking centre. You can find an accessible dry toilet and table-bench sets, a drinking water point and a recycling point at the Haukkalampi Pond. The small Haukkalampi parking area has a recycling point for different types of waste. There are several information boards along the trail in the Haukkalampi and Mustalampi areas.
