The trail leading to the Kärjenkallio Observation Tower begins as an accessible trail, starting from the corner of the parking area in front of the dry toilet.
The gravelled, wide trail winds in a bright coniferous forest, until you reach the observation platform overlooking Lake Puurijärvi.
There is a covered, gate-like information point near the observation platform, with nature boards on its walls. The trail continues after the information point down a steep hill.
You will arrive at a grazing area. Cattle graze on the shores of Lake Puurijärvi. Grazing improves the living conditions of shoreline bird species and insect species in open coastal meadows. The trail goes through the pasture, so you must pass through the pasture gates. Remember to close the gates behind you.
After the grazing area, you will reach a copse with the Kärjenkallio Observation Tower. There are information boards on Lake Puurijärvi bird life in the tower.
The trail returns to the parking area along the same route.
