The Jeturkasti trail passes mainly through a bright pine forest, sometimes climbing small rock hills. It runs along the shoreline of Lake Matildanjärvi for less than a kilometre. This circle trail is named after the ancient shore of Jeturkasti, where the Baltic Sea waves washed the rocky shore some 9,000 years ago. Here, visitors can still see an impressive boulder field (also known as ‘Pirunpelto’ or ‘Devil’s field’ in Finnish), which reveals the ancient shoreline and covers nearly a couple of hectares.

The accessible section of the trail runs from the Jeturkasti parking area (Skoilantie 354, Salo) for 700 metres to the viewing platform at the ancient shoreline. It can be used by visitors in wheelchairs and with prams when there is no snow. An assistant is recommended for visitors in wheelchairs.
Part of the trail runs along the shore of Lake Matildanjärvi. There are more demanding changes in elevation along the shore section.
The terrain is fairly flat and the wide sand trail is well suited to mountain biking. The rocky shoreline of Lake Matildanjärvi should be hiked along Matildanjärvitie road. There is one duckboarded mire section along the trail where bikes must be carried.
