From the ironworks villages of Mathildedal, Teijo and Kirjakkala you can hike, paddle, fish and cycle directly to the diverse lake and mire landscapes of the national park. On the shore of Halikonlahti Bay, just a few kilometres away from each other, are located three old iron foundries: Kirjakkala, Teijo and Mathildedal.
