The start of Byabäcken Nature Trail is at the parking area on Länsitie road.
You first descend to the pedestrian bridge across Byabäcken stream. This is followed by a fairly steep climb through a spectacular spruce forest, and after 300 metres, you can catch your breath at Ängesböle campsite or even stay overnight.
Behind the campsite with its lean-tos, dry toilets and campfire sites, there is the reservable campfire site of Bergström croft. A water point is available from spring to autumn.
After returning to the nature trail, you walk through a coniferous forest, until you reach a lush pasture grazed by livestock in summer.
The landscape opening out when you walk downhill towards the open pasture and farmland is exceptionally impressive. In addition to cattle, you may also see many butterflies and other species.
After crossing the stream, you climb up a sloping meadow and follow Länsitie road for the rest of the way.
