The trail to the Ahvenus Observation Tower runs through cultural landscapes. The observation tower offers a view over the northern Lake Puurijärvi. The trail is a total of one kilometre back and forth. The short trail is suitable for the whole family. There are no dry toilets or campsites along the trail. There is a beach maintained by the municipality near the starting point by the river. The trail is not maintained in the winter.
The trail can only be used during the snow-free season

From the parking area, the trail follows the river as a gravelled path. It leads through field landscapes.
The trail then runs in the forest for a while, until it reaches the observation tower.
The trail returns to the parking area along the same route.
