In the late winter, when ice and snow conditions permit, ski tracks are prepared and maintained in Tiilikkajärvi National Park for the winter holiday weeks. Check the status of the tracks before your trip in the What's New section of the Tiilikkajärvi National Park pages or from the Rautavaara municipality, which maintains the tracks.

The ski route consists of two classic style loops (7 and 17 km). The tracks start from the Sammakkoniemi information point, and snacks are enjoyed in the yard of Uitonkämpä.

You can also ski off-track by making your own trails in nature.
