Autiotupa on vaatimaton, vanhan metsänvartijatilan uudelleen koottu aitta. Käytössä ympäri vuoden. Autiotupa on avoin, jaettava ja maksuton levähdys-ja yöpymispaikka omatoimiretkeilijöille. Autiotuvissa voi yöpyä yön tai kaksi ilman ennakkovarausta. Varaudu siihen, että autiotupaan ei mahdu nukkumaan. A hut includes both an open wilderness hut and a rental hut in the same building. The hut is available year-round. Open wilderness hut A modest open wilderness hut is available year-round. The open wilderness hut is a shared and free resting and overnight place for independent hikers. You can stay in wilderness huts for one or two nights without a reservation. Be prepared for the possibility that there may not be enough space to sleep in the hut. Facilities -Sleeping places for four. -Heating with a stove. -Gas stove for cooking. -Drinking water point. Water from natural sources must be purified before drinking. -No waste management. Take your own waste out of the area. -Bring your own cooking utensils. -Pets are allowed in the hut only with the consent of other users. Spend the night close to nature! Our lean-to, laavu, is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset and picturesque lake sceneries. Moskito net over your bed will keep these little friends away. You'll have your private scenery to Lake Karkaus below. This accommodation can accommodate max 2 persons. Includes bedlinen, towel, sauna, evening snack and breakfast basket delivered at arrival.

Karkausmäki glamping - Sleep under the stars of Deep Land of Finland

Go to the forest, listen to the silence and find peace! In Karkausmäki's luxury tent you can get close to nature and admire the evening sunset and the greenery of nature in a lake scenery. Old pine trees and scenery to the Karkaus-lake, is the perfect place to fall asleep. Listen the birds sing as you wake up in a comfy queen bed made with linen sheets. The tent has no electricity or heating, so be prepared for the Finnish summer with warm clothes. However, there are woollen blankets and thick duvets to keep you warm. For charging your mobile phone, there is a power supply in the tent. A shelter and a campfire site near the tent are available for watching the sunset under the midnight sun. If you wish, you can also book the wood-fired sauna. On arrival, snacks such as fruit and nuts will be waiting for you in the tent. A breakfast basket will be delivered to the tent in the morning at a pre-arranged time. The breakfast basket is assembled from domestic ingredients produced nearby. For additional price you can book evening snack, hot tub, pampering treatments and bicycles or SUP-boards. The neighbouring Karkausjärvi is a relaxing spot for SUP-boarding. There are also other nearby lakes within 3-5 km of the accommodation and hiking trails, for example Salamajärvi Nationalpark. The trails of the Salamajärvi National Park are about 20 km away. Looking for some peace and quiet in a beautiful scenery, by a lakefront? The Karkausmäen Kammari accommodation offers all that, all year round. We can accommodate 12 persons in 5 double-rooms and 2 extra beds. The guests share a large country kitchen, toilets and showers. After a day of activities, you can relax in the traditional Finnish sauna and listen to nature's sounds by the fire at the 'laavu' (lean-to). We also offer seasonal activities, like snowshoeing, forest bathing, wild food picking and sauna events.

In Salamajärvi National Park, at the Koirasalmi Nature Hut, you can choose the accommodation option that suits best your or your group's needs. - The Koirasalmi nature hut has six rooms for 1-4 people. - The Koirasalmi nature hut can accommodate up to 22 people. - The rooms have bunk beds, a fridge, a table and cupboards. - There is a well-equipped shared kitchen with dishes and household appliances for the use of those staying. - In the same space there is also a shared toilet, a large fireplace with a TV/screen for a computer. - Downstairs there are toilets and showers. - Pets are allowed for an additional fee if agreed in advance. - Pets are not allowed in the public areas. - Extra beds are available in some of the rooms, max. 1pc/room for an additional fee. - You can either bring your own linen or rent them from us (incl. sheet, duvet cover, pillowcase). - If you use your own sleeping bag, you also need a sheet and a pillowcase. - You can book breakfast when booking a room. Individual breakfasts, for less than 4 people, we prepare beforehand to the fridge, and for larger groups, breakfast can be prepared at a pre-arranged time. Cyclist's hideaway - 1 night accommodation package

Stay cosy along the way! At Karkausmäki, you can enjoy the unhurried atmosphere and sit by the fire in our lean-to in the middle of nature. In the sauna of Karkausmäki you'll forget your worries and everyday cares. We are part of the Welcome Cyclist network and we are along the Lakeland by Cycle route, the Green Gold Gravel Tour. You can arrive at your own schedule starting at 3pm. You can wash your bike in front of the sauna with a hose or a bucket and brush if needed. Parking is available on both sides of the main building entrance and you are also welcome to park your bike overnight in the hallway behind a locked door if you wish:) In the indoor porch you will find a pump and a toolbox for basic bike maintenance. If you need to recharge your bike's batteries, and also your phone, you can conveniently charge them in the room for the next day's adventures. Rental huts from Koirasalmi Nature Hut in Salamajärvi National Park

The rentals offer a peaceful accommodation option in the Salamajärvi National Park along the Hirvaan round hiking trail. Rental huts 1, 2 and 3 in Sysilampi - The rental huts have bunk beds, mattresses, pillows and blankets. Bring your own bed linen and towels. - The huts also have a table, chairs and dishware as well as cooking utensils. - Pets are allowed in the huts. - You can also camp in the yard. - Food can be prepared on a gas stove, wooden heated stove or outside on a campfire. - There is also a wooden shed, a toilet building and a drinking water well in the yard. - Sauna is not included in rental hut 1. - Sysilammi's new rental hut consists of two separate huts with their own entrances. - There is a sauna on the shore of Sysilammi, which is used by the guests of rental huts 2 and 3. Maahisenkota accommodation package in Salamajärvi National Park at Koirasalmi Nature Hut

Maahisenkota hut is a cosy accommodation option close to the lake and Koirasalmi Nature Information Hut whilst still being secluded and private. You can choose either double or single beds. The accommodation has electricity, a kitchen hut which heats the place, fire wood, a coffee pot for the fire place and drinking water. Next to the hut, you will find a barbecue pit, pier and outdoor toilets. There is a boat on Lake Pieni Koirajärvi, and you can enjoy fishing on the lake. Service duration: From 4 pm to noon the following day. Number of people/group size: 1-4 people Price: €200/1-2 people, extra bed €25, max 2 extra beds Price includes: Use of the hut and fire wood, double bed or separate single beds, bedding and sheets as well as towels. A boat on Lake Pieni Koirajärvi, includes life vests. Use of the barbecue pit, pier and outdoor toilets. For additional price you can rent the lakeside sauna. Guests' own gear: Weather-appropriate clothing You can opt to take your own food, sleeping bag and fishing gear. Anyone aged between 18 and 69 must pay the fisheries management fee if they choose to lure fish.
