The Riisitunturi Multipurpose track is open for winter 2025

The Riisitunturi Multipurpose track is 20 kilometers long, partly circular trail. The trail starts and ends at the Riisitunturi parking area.

In winter, available by skis, fatbike or on snowshoes. Please notice that the track does not have traditional cross-country skiing track. The trail is leveled on Tuesdays and on Fridays. Travel time is 3 or 8 hours depending on the mode of travel.

You can find the trail description for the Riisitunturi multipurpose track on the classic.luontoon.fi website. The trail information will be updated to the new service in February 2025.

Good to know:

  • Dogs are welcome, but they must be on a leash at all times.
  • The same track is also used for dog sledge tours, and other users must always give way to the sledges.
