Mustavaarantie pysäköintialue

Mustavaarantie is accessible only during the snow-free season. The 8-kilometre road is maintained by the Mustavaara private road maintenance association. At the beginning of the road, there is a barrier gate, and a key can be rented from the Fell Lapland Visitor Centre, Hetan Kota, and Hotel Hetan Majatalo. At the end of Mustavaarantie, there is a small parking area from which a trail leads into the national park towards Pyhäkero. The parking area is also only available during the snow-free season. The distance from the parking area to the Pyhäkero open wilderness hut is just under 2 kilometres.
