The mountain biking and summer hiking trail from Ylläsjärvi Village via Ojanlatva day-use hut and Latvamaja to the Kesänkijärvi Lake is relatively easy to bike or hike. The trail starting from Ylläsjärvi Village runs on the east side of the fells in the varying landscapes of natural forests, bogs and mires. The trail is easy in profile, but the terrain always has its own challenges. Even on foot, the route is enjoyable. After reaching the Kesänkijärvi Lake, you can decide whether to go back the same route or go over or around the fells back to the Ylläsjärvi Village. The trail can also be cycled from Kesänkijärvi to Ylläsjärvi. There are signposts to Ylläsjärvi from the Äkäslompolo Ski Resort.
