The accessible Saari-Soljanen trail takes you into the heart of the charming Soljanen bog, where you might spot a wader bird such as the wood sandpiper. The trail runs near the bog ponds of Saari-Soljanen and Kirkas-Soljanen. At the trail's starting point, by the shore of Saari-Soljanen, there is an accessible rest area with a cooking shelter and campfire site. The parking area has an accessible dry toilet. Along the trail, you will find an accessible viewing platform and a fishing pier. The trail is not maintained during the winter.

he trail starts next to Saari-Soljanen parking area. To reach the trail from the parking area, visitors cross a sandy road. The distance to the start from the drop-off point and bus parking area is approx. 100 m. There are no separate accessible parking spaces in the parking area.
The demanding accessible trail at Saari-Soljanen is a 500-metres each way, meaning the total distance is 1 kilometer. The trail is not marked, but it is easy to follow and there is no risk of getting lost. Along the trail, there are maps and information boards about the bog area's flora and fauna.
At the start of the trail, there is an accessible rest area at Saari-Soljanen, and the trail begins in front of the cooking shelter. The initial part of the trail is a wide gravel path that winds through a sunny pine forest.
Soon, the trail enters the bog. Here, it follows a wide wooden boardwalk that meanders between the bog ponds until you reach a viewing platform with benches and information boards. The Soljanen bog area is rich in birdlife, and from the viewing platform, you might spot a wood sandpiper (Tringa glareola).
From the viewing platform, the trail continues to the shore of Kirkas-Soljanen, where there is an accessible fishing pier. Hook and rod fishing is allowed in Seitseminen National Park, and the Arctic Loon (Gavia Arctica) or the Read-throated Loon (Gavia stellata) diver may nest at Kirkas-Soljanen pond.
