Rantaniitty Nature Trail starts from the yard of the Liminka Bay Visitor Centre, next to the campfire shelter. From the end of the visitor centre's hotel wing, you walk along the sheep enclosure towards the wildflower meadow. The round-trip length of the trail is 1.3 kilometers.
At the beginning of the trail, in the sheep enclosure, there is a small pond where you can see birds or frogs. Along the trail, there are information boards showcasing coastal meadow's nature, illustrated by Seppo Leinonen.
At the pond, the trail makes a sharp left turn. The path runs alongside the sheep enclosure for the entire distance. The trail is paved with large gravel and is wheelchair accessible with assistance.
At the end of the trail, 650 meters away, there is a table and bench set for taking a break, as well as a view opening up to Liminka Bay.
Return to the visitor centre via the same route.
