The trail runs through forests on fairly flat terrain. Wilderness areas with mire and pond scenery can be enjoyed on the way. There is a lot of storm damage along the trail. The sections running through mires have duckboards or a crushed rock surface. The trail is a popular route among cloudberry pickers.

The trail is marked on trees with green dots of paint.
The whole trail runs through pine-dominated forests on flat, easy terrain. An easy pathway has been cleared through areas covered in trees felled by the storm.
