On the Moitakurun reitti Trail, you can see the upper reaches of the Luttojoki River, where it is still narrow.From Kaunispää and Palopää, you can enjoy views of the fells. Along the route, you will find Karvaselkä's Haunted Cabin in Saariselkä and the old reindeer herder's cabin and reindeer round-up fence in Moitakuru. Campsites along the trail include the Luttojoki day-use hut, the Palo-oja campfire hut and the Moitakuru day-use hut. The trail is available all year round. In Summertime hiking and mountain biking, in winter cross-country skiing trail. The route is a demanding route due to its length and large differences in altitude. The trail is marked in the terrain with black vertical posts. You can travel the trail through the Kaunispää Fell, where a café operates during the high season.

  • Remember to bring a trash bagThere are no waste bins on the trail. Bring along your own trash bag and take your waste out with you when leaving.
