On the Modermagan Nature Trail, you will learn about nature in the outer archipelago. You can see all the way out to the open sea from rocks. The trail circles the sheltered southern bay of the island and passes the ‘glo lake’ (a landlocked lake that was formerly part of the sea) in the eastern part of the island.

The trail does not have a particular starting point, but you can start hiking at whichever point. The terrain is quite uneven, and the rocks are slippery after rain.
Along the trail, there are boards with information about the outer archipelago zone. You can also visit the restored dugout shelter and splinterproof shelter on the trail. The campfire site and camping area on the island are located on the trail.
