The Metsäperäläisen taival Trail circles the beautiful shoreline of Lake Iso Koirajärvi in a wilderness-like setting. The trail is narrow and rocky. Trail markings: green paint markers.
The trail should be hiked clockwise so that the rocky section is at the start of the hike.
Located at the north end of Lake Iso Koirajärvi, the Pahkahonganlahti campfire hut lean-to is an excellent rest stop.
