The waymarked trail starts and ends at the southern parking area. The address of the southern parking area is Emäsalontie 1414, 06950 Emäsalo.
The trail is marked with orange markers on the trees. You can walk it in either direction. The trail has no winter upkeep.
When following the waymarked trail anti-clockwise, you will first descend to the seashore past massive boulders. There are plenty of rocks and tree roots underfoot. The route then heads north along the shore. At the crossing you can either turn slightly uphill and return to the starting point through the forest, or continue a bit further to reach the accessible route which leads to the Fågelboet peninsula. The smooth rocks are slippery when wet.
There are three campfire sites along the waymarked trail, right on the seashore. At first you will find two open campfire sites close to each other. A bit further on there is a shelter and campfire site. There are another two shelters and a campfire site where the waymarked trail meets the accessible route.
