Starting pointSalomaa P-paikka
There are out-and-back sections along the trail. The total length of the trail is approximately 4.5 kilometres.
The demanding accessible trail at Kauhalampi starts from the parking area, passing the dry toilet and heading toward the Salomaa accessible campsite, which is located at the edge of the mire.
From there, the trail continues along a gravel trail through a bright pine forest.
When entering the mire, the trail becomes a boardwalk. The trail has widened sections to allow hikers to pass one another.
There is an accessible viewing platform halfway across the mire section.
The trail continues from the viewing platform as a boardwalk until it changes to a wide gravel trail. The accessible trail continues to the Numminkangas campfire site. Please note, however, that the structures of the Nummikangas rest area are not accessible.
The trail then returns to the mire area, following the same boardwalk back to the forest section. The trail returns to the parking area along the same gravel road.
