Harjujen huikonen is suitable for those with some mountain biking experience and for real mountain biking enthusiasts. However, those with less experience can ride an easier section, returning from the Torkonluikea Rapids to the visitor centre. When doing the entire circle trail, you can test your hill ascending abilities. The trail introduces all key elements of Hossa, ranging from the shore trails to the esker trails and the lake scenery. The mountain biking trail starts from the visitor centre, and its direction is anti-clockwise. There is no winter maintenance on the trail. There are demanding esker sections along the trail and in rainy weather, the shore trails are slippery.

The Harjujen huikonen Trail starts at the Visitor Centre’s yard, from the starting point of the MTB routes.
The beginning includes a 300-metre shared use section with an accessible route. The shared section ends at the Iikoski Rapids, where the trail’s first campfire site is located.
The trail runs from the Iikoski Rapids to the Torkonluikea Rapids along the shores on the northern side of Lake Huosiusjärvi. You can find another campsite there.
From the Torkonluikea Rapids, the trail leads towards the Hakokoski lean-to shelter, going around Lake Syvä-Hoilua.
The esker area between the Hakokoski Rapids and Lake Syvä-Suottajärvi leads you to the Hakokoski bridge, after which you can make a campfire at the lean-to shelter.
The trail leads back along the Hakoharju Esker and ends at the Huosivirta parking area. The final section follows the Jatkonsalmentie Road to the Visitor Centre.
