Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the open heath forest on the demanding Hakin helpompi Accessible Trail. Between the trees, you can catch a glimpse of Lake Puruvesi, Saimaa, which is famous for its clear waters. The section following the Puistometsäntie Road is surrounded on both sides by impressive larch trees, which are more than 100 years old. When you reach the end of the trail, a relaxed picnic at the Karjalankallio lean-to shelter will hit the spot! The trail is easy to walk and thus suitable for both fit and less active visitors. If you are looking for a longer journey, you can combine the Hakin helpompi Trail with the nearby Karjalankallion huilaus Trail. There are thematic trail boards by the trail, instructing you to become a responsible hiker. You can put your knowledge to a test in the Outdoor Etiquette game, which you can access by scanning the QR codes on the boards. It should be noted that cycling and driving are allowed on the road. The speed limit on the road is 30 km/h.
