Hut Reservations in the Eräluvat Online Store

• Hut reservations can now be made independently on the Eräluvat.fi online service. Before booking a hut, carefully familiarize yourself with the conditions of the destination.
• The keys to the cottages are now in a key box at the cottages. More detailed information about bookable huts and hut keys can be found on the eräluvat.fi online service.

Anterinmukka Sauna and Other Structures Currently Closed

• The sauna at Anterinmukka wilderness hut is currently closed, starting from April 15, 2024, due to fire safety deficiencies found during an inspection.
• The Voittiköngäs Campfire Shelter is currently closed.
• The Saukkosuvanto Campfire Shelter is currently closed.
• The rental hut Tikkasen Vieriharju is not avaible from the beginning of year 2025.

Maintenance of Roads Leading to the National Park Boundary

• Kemihaarantie is plowed in winter until further notice. More information at [savukoski.fi] (https://www.savukoski.fi/).
• There is no winter maintenance on Kuutua forest road (leads to Aittajärvi car park).
• There is no winter maintenance on Sompiojärvi road.
• There is no winter maintenance on the forest road leading to the Luttojoki suspension bridge. The nearest parking area is at the intersection of Rajajoosepintie and the forest road (about 5 km to Luttojoki).
• Marivaara forest road is in very poor condition, and it is not recommended to drive there. The road has no winter maintenance.
