By car
Syöte National Park is located north of the Oulu-Kuusamo Highway (no. 20), about 60 km north of Pudasjärvi. Distance from Taivalkoski in 37 km, from Kuusamo 94 km and from Oulu 143 km. The nearest airport and railway station are located in Oulu.
In the Syöte area, the starting points for the trails can be easily reached by car in the summer. In winter, many roads are not ploughed, so please take this into account when planning your excursion. Further information from the Syöte Visitor Centre.

The parking area at the Ski Stadium is located in the immediate vicinity of the Syötte Nature Center and is recommended for use especially during peak holiday seasons when the Nature Center's parking area becomes crowded. Winter maintenance, the parking area is available year-round.
