Seitseminen National Park is located in northern Pirkanmaa Region, about 50 km north-west of the town of Tampere.

There are parking areas throughout the national park. The main starting points of the trails and the largest parking areas are located at the Seitseminen Nature Centre and the Kovero Heritage Farm

  • There are four charging points (Type2) for electric cars at the parking place of Nature Centre.

  • There are three electric parking spaces for caravans at the parking place of Nature Centre. There is a separate parking area for caravans at Saari-Soljanen (Soljostentie, Ylöjärvi). Caravans may also be parked at the Kovero parking area (Seitsemisentie 948, Ikaalinen). You can stay in the caravan area for three nights.

  • Buses may be parked in the parking area at the Seitseminen Nature Centre (Seitsemisentie 110, Ylöjärvi). Just under a kilometre away (Seitsemisentie 181, Ylöjärvi) there is also a roadside pull-off suitable for buses. Buses may also be parked in the Kovero parking area. In the Kirkas-Soljanen area, there is a suitable pull-off for buses near the reservable cooking shelter (Soljostentie, Ylöjärvi).

Please note that motor vehicles are prohibited on the section of road turning off from Kivijärventie to Soljanen.

Tip: The parking areas of the Nature Centre, Kovero and Soljanen may be full from time to time. The busiest times are on weekends during the day in June-August. Parking is only allowed in marked parking areas. Parking along the edge of the road is prohibited. If the parking area is full, please drive to the next parking area.
