There are two bird watching towers in the nature reserve. One of the towers is on the nature trail near Villa Elfvik and the other at Otaniemi on the trail which begins at Konemiehentie road. A trail leading through reed beds is also a good place to observe birds. The reserve is a very popular spot to go bird watching, especially during migration in spring and autumn.
