Hiking
There is a table and benches for picnics at the parking area and close to the tip of the Karkalinniemi peninsula, near the supporting stones of archbishop Johansson’s pavilion.
Toilets
There is a toilet in the parking area. Remember to bring your own toilet paper.
Waste disposal
Remember to bring rubbish bags with you when heading out for a trip to Karkali Nature Reserve. The Karkali parking area has collection containers for mixed waste and returnable bottles and cans. There is also a secondary compost near the dry toilet in the parking area. You can deposit degradable waste in the toilet or the compost.
