By boat to the Bothnian Bay National Park
The Bothnian Bay National Park is located in the outer archipelago of Kemi and Tornio. During the ice-free season, the national park is only accessible by boat. The nearest airport and railway station are in Kemi.
The shores of the islands are shallow and rocky, often making it impossible to land with larger boats.
- From Röyttä Harbor in Tornio, it is about 10 km to Pensaskari in the national park, and from Kemi Inner Harbor, it is about 15 km.
- There are no marked fairways to the islands of the national park.
- The 9.0 m deep shipping channel between Kemi and Tornio passes through the national park.
- Water taxis can be booked for transport to the national park.

- There is room for 10-20 boats with draft less than 2,5 meters in the excursion harbour.
