In one of the world’s most beautiful archipelagos, the scenery ranges from barren rocky islets to living archipelago villages and from open sea to sheltered bays between cliffs. The Archipelago Sea is the largest archipelago in Europe. It comprises some 40,000 islands and islets of different sizes, of which around 2,000 are located in the Archipelago National Park. You can reach the area by a private boat, or why not catch a ferry from one of the many ports of departure.

Visitor's checklist

  • The National Park is a nature reserveEveryman’s Right are not valid as such in national parks.
  • Always keep pets on a leashAlso remember a dog waste bag and clean up after your dog.
  • Make campfires only in designated sitesAlways check the current wildfire warning before making a fire. During a wildfire warning, fires are only allowed in cooking shelters with a chimney.
  • Overnight at the cruise port is allowedYou may keep a boat in the excursion port for a maximum of 2 days.
  • Camp only at permitted camping sitesCamping is only permitted in the immediate vicinity of designated rest and campfire sites, and huts.
  • Remember to bring a trash bagBring a trash bag and take the trash with you or to the recycling point.
