The trail runs through ravines and forested terrain. There aren't many elevation changes along the trail, but it ascends once to the slope of Vahtamapää, where you can admire the fell landscapes. The terrain between Taajoslaavu and Vellinsärpimä (about 8 km) is wet and not suitable for gravel bikes. From the new day-use hut at Rumakuru, you can admire the ravine scenery and visit the nearby clear-water pond. Along the trail, there are day-use-huts and lean-to shelters, near which there are campfire site, toilet, and woodshelter. The trail is marked with orange mountain biker symbol and number 4 and it is accessible during snow-free season.
