Local buses (foli.fi) from Turku Puutori run to the Kuhankuono stop from spring to autumn. The nearest trails begin 200 metres from thte stop, and the Kuhankuono boundary mark is roughly 1 km away. Not every service runs all the way to Kuhankuono, terminating instead at Tortinmäki, which is roughly 6 km from Kuhankuono and Vajosuo.
