Vattukurun lumikenkäreitti

The Vattukuru Nature Trail is a winter destination accessible by snowshoes. The trail starts from the parking area and is marked with yellow paint marks on the trees. The trail has some elevation changes and winds through the old forest. At the bottom of Vattukuru, there's a lean-to where you can make a fire and enjoy your packed meals. During the winter season weeks, the trail is quite popular, so it gets packed down hard and can often be walked without snowshoes. It's important to note that the trail is not mechanically maintained, so after a snowstorm, it may be covered. Snowshoes provide grip on the ascents and descents, and they also allow for exploration off the trail.
