A hut includes both an open wilderness hut and a shared rental hut in the same building. The hut is available year-round. A demanding wilderness destination.
The wilderness hut is situated on the north shore of Lake Dierpmesjávri / Termisjärvi on the west side of a stream which runs into the lake from Salmikuru Ravine.
Open wilderness hut:
The open wilderness hut is a shared and free resting and overnight place for independent hikers (not for companies). You can stay in wilderness huts for one or two nights without a reservation. Be prepared for the possibility that there may not be enough space to sleep in the hut.
Facilities of open wilderness hut:
- Sleeping places for 8.
- Heating with a stove.
- No drinking water point. Water from natural sources must be purified before drinking.
- No waste management. Take your own waste out of the area.
- Bring your own cooking utensils.
- Pets are allowed in the hut only with the consent of other users.
Shared rental hut:
In a paid shared rental hut, you secure your sleeping place by booking for 1–2 nights. Both familiar and unfamiliar hikers stay together in the shared rental hut.
